Margaret Ross lead by example when she accepted her recent ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Revenge is sweet for Margaret as she has in turn nominated Waverley’s maintenance team to undertake the challenge.
For those who may not have heard of this challenge, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is a social media trend where participants throw a bucket of ice cold water over their head and make a donation to charity in the process. The idea for this originated in America where Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is the umbrella term used in the US to describe motor neurone diseases, as well as the name for the most common disease in this group, which in the UK we call Motor Neurone Disease.
