#ScotAppWeek18 – Steven Drummond – My Apprenticeship Story
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do when I left school. I stayed on and completed 6th year. A few of my friends had signed up for courses at Borders College so I signed up for a one year Carpentry and Joinery course.
I really enjoyed the course and the work experience undertaken and when I heard about Waverley’s vacancy for an Apprentice Joiner I applied and was lucky enough to be selected.
I am now in the third year of my apprenticeship and I’m really enjoying the experience and have gained a lot of skills.
