Borders Driver Gold – Drive Safer for Longer!
Borders Drivers Gold scheme provides an opportunity for older drivers over 60 years of age, to update their driving skills and confidence on the road, as well as refresh their knowledge on topics such as the Highway Code and modern driving techniques.
To launch this scheme there will be an older drivers event in Sainsbury’s car park on Wednesday 18 May from 10am to 3pm – everyone welcome to attend!
FREE AWARENESS SESSIONS
A two hour driving theory refresher to provide a better understanding of changes that have taken place over the years, to the roads, the traffic, the rules, the vehicles and most importantly to individuals. With positive pointers on how to manage these changes.
Why not go along to one of the following sessions at the new Burnfoot Community Hub, Burnfoot Road, Hawick, TD9 8EN
– Wednesday 15 June (1.30-3.30pm)
