SENIOR PROPERTY OFFICER
Salary – £43,414 + £2,196 Car Allowance Per Annum
Permanent – Full Time Contract
Waverley Housing is a registered social landlord operating in the Scottish Borders. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our busy property maintenance service to ensure it continues to operate in an effective and efficient manner for our customers.
The role holder will have:
- experience in managing and supporting staff to ensure the effective delivery or our maintenance services to tenants and to support the Property Services Manager with the supervision of our Trades Team who undertake the majority of our reactive repairs, voids and planned works
- relevant technical or professional qualification and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a property maintenance environment, possess good communication skills, organisational and administrative skills and will have worked in housing or a similar field
- a key role in the delivery of improvements to our homes to make them more energy efficient and to be involved in identifying potential projects to meet internal and Scottish Government targets
- experience of digital maintenance systems, in particular the ability to work with and analyse information is essential
- a good understanding of property maintenance procurement, compliance and health and safety
- an understanding of fabric first approach and programmes of work in relation to Energy Efficiency in Standard for Social Housing, (EESSH) and Social Housing Net Zero Standard (SHNZS) in Scotland
