The Financial Inclusion Project Borders (FIPB) was set up to help people cope with financial worries. Staff from FIPB are working in conjunction with the StepChange Debt Charity to run a debt awareness week commencing Monday 25th January. FIPB staff and representatives from Stepchange will be available to give advice at a number of venues throughout the week as per the details below. All events will run from 11am until 2pm.
Monday 25th January – Langlee Community Centre, Galashiels
Tuesday 26th January – Burnfoot Futures, Community Hub, Hawick
Wednesday 27th January – The Carters Rest, Jedburgh
Thursday 28th January – Selkirk Rugby Football Club
Friday 29th January – Community Wing, Old Primary School, Newtown St Boswells
Tea, coffee, sandwiches and biscuits will be available and there will be a free raffle prize drawn at each venue.
