Christmas Catch Up
In December we were delighted to welcome several tenants along to our joint meeting ‘Christmas Catch-up’. It was an exceptionally busy and successful 2014 for tenant engagement. Our Christmas Catch up was an opportunity for tenants to meet together and share the successes of the various residents groups across the Borders. The meeting even resulted in some new volunteers to our Customer Review Panel!
The year in 2 minutes:
| Langlee Residents Association | Launched their Community House in Beech Avenue. Meet monthly to discuss housing and community issues. |
| Stonefield Residents Association | Meeting monthly to set up as a registered tenants group. Planning a coffee morning in 2015 and will be involved in the open space project in Stonefield, Hawick. |
| Customer Review Panel | Met throughout 2014 to discuss and agree designs of our new website, handbook and most importantly, our first report on the charter |
| The Linn Residents Group | Held initial meetings to set up a residents group to discuss local issues and consider a communal area project. More meetings planned in 2015 |
| 5th Ward Community Association | Regularly meeting to consider play park project and raise funds for the upkeep of the community owned hall in Glendinning, Galashiels. |
