Local Resident and Waverley Team look over the planting project at The Linn, Kelso
On 25th July, a team of Waverley staff carried out a day of renovating flower beds in The Linn, Kelso. The flower beds in the communal areas were weeded, dug over and planted up with a selection of flowering plants and shrubs.
A rotovator was kindly loaned to the team by Kelso Plant Hire, and our grateful thanks to them for this. Children from the Castlegate Nursery visited the project and helped plant up the beds.
During the course of the day, an information stand provided a hub where local residents could access information and speak to staff in an informal way. Several residents helped out, providing the use of hoses and water points.
Thank you to everyone for their hard work which has resulted in all targeted flower beds being planted up and renovated.
