Mission Christmas Appeal

Waverley Housing has once more registered as a drop off point for anyone in the Hawick area who would like to donate to the Radio Borders Mission Christmas appeal. People are invited to buy an extra present to donate which will be given to a disadvantaged local child to make their Christmas morning special. The appeal is looking for unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0-18 years. Alternatively, if people prefer to give cash instead that’s great too!

About Cash for Kids

Cash for Kids is the official charity of Radio Borders and provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children around the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.

Each year we hope to have thousands of pounds available for grants to children’s charities, individuals and many other causes throughout our transmission area.

All the money is raised locally and spent locally and goes to children and young people under 18 throughout the region, with mental, physical or sensory disabilities, with behavioural or psychological disorders, living in poverty or situations of deprivation, suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
