Congratulations to James Burns (front row centre), Waverley Housing’s apprentice Plumber & Gas Fitter, whom together with his fellow apprentices, achieved success with their “Empower” team by winning the SFHA and City Building Apprentice Challenge at the Annual Conference in Glasgow.
19 young workers from Housing Associations and Co-operatives across Scotland took part in the 2-day event which involved teams of apprentices working together to design a sustainable community which is economically, environmentally and socially healthy for current and future generations.
