Drug Litter – What should you do?
Discarded needles can impact on your health, that of your children and those around you. Do something about it.
Discarded needles and syringes carry a risk of blood borne viruses such as Hepatitis B and C and HIV.
What should you do if you find needles?
DO NOT:
- Touch needle or syringe
- Try to put them in a litter bin
- Try to put them down the drain or flush down toilet
