Council Tax
Tenants are responsible for paying their own council tax and should
contact Scottish Borders Council on

is required.
How to Pay your Rent
There are several ways to pay your rent. You can choose the one that
suits you best.

Direct Debit
– through your bank payable every Friday (weekly) or on
the 1st of every month (monthly)
•
Standing Order
– through your bank payable at regular (weekly,
fortnightly or monthly) intervals on whatever day/date is suitable for you

PayPoint
– tenants are provided with a swipe-card that can be used at
any Post Office, AllPay, E-pay or Payzone terminal located in shops and
supermarkets, or you can download the Allpay app onto your mobile and
make payments

Internet/Telephone banking
