Right to Repair 1 The ‘Right to Repair’ was introduced
in 1994 and amended by the Housing
(Scotland) Act 2001.
It allows a tenant to contact an approved
alternative contractor if the one chosen
by Waverley Housing fails to carry out a
qualifying repair within the timescales.
