We continue to review our provision of services in line with the latest Scottish Government guidelines. We plan to restart routine internal repairs from 10 July which will include tackling the backlog of routine repairs that we are aware of. If you reported a routine repair to us during the current lockdown period our staff will contact you to arrange for the repair to be completed. From 10 July we will respond to new requests for routine repairs but would appreciate your understanding as we seek to deal with our outstanding backlog of works required. Given this backlog of work our normal timescales for dealing with routine repairs will be suspended until the backlog has been cleared. As a result the Right to Repair Regulations will be suspended during this period. When you report a repair to our staff you must tell us if you or a member of your household is shielding, self-isolating or have Covid-19 symptoms. You must also agree to allow our Trades Staff or sub-contractors to work in your home to undertake the repair. Our Trades Staff or authorised sub- contractors will be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment depending on the circumstances applying. You will be requested to wait in another room whilst the repair is being carried out. At all times please respect the 2 metre social distancing rules whilst our Trades Staff or sub-contractors are working in your home.
