Waverley Housing

Waverley Housing and Camerons’ Architects have expressed their satisfaction with the turnout achieved at the Community Consultation Event held at Langlee Primary School on 29 November from 1pm to 7pm. Over 40 people attended the Event mostly residents living in Upper Langlee but local Councillors were also in attendance. The Event was arranged to demonstrate the masterplan for the estate regeneration and provide more detail on the number of new homes to be provided and the type and layout of these homes. The overwhelming response from those attending has been positive and a number of useful points about various elements of the masterplan were made for example queries about the number of 1 bed flats to be provided, arrangements for refuse disposal, etc. These points will be taken on board and will help to fine tune elements of our masterplan before we look to submit a detailed planning application to Scottish Borders Council early in the New Year.
